Role Overview
PlantSea is seeking a Founder’s Associate to work closely with the Founder and CEO across commercial, strategic, and operational priorities. This is a high-trust, hands-on role designed to support clear thinking, effective communication, and strong execution in a fast-growing sustainability business.
The role combines executive support with analytical, research, and communication responsibilities. You will help translate ideas into structured outputs, support decision-making at board and investor level, and ensure momentum across key workstreams.
This is not a purely strategic or advisory role. Success depends on delivery, follow-through, and the ability to move confidently between thinking and doing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Executive Support
– Support preparation for board meetings, including briefing notes, papers, presentations, and summaries
– Assist with fundraising communications, including pitch decks and narrative development
– Draft and refine strategic documents, internal notes, and decision papers
– Act as a trusted, discreet sounding board to the Founder
Research and Analysis
– Conduct market, customer, route-to-market, policy, and sector research
– Synthesise findings into clear insights and recommendations
– Prepare briefings that support efficient decision-making
Commercial and External Support
– Support customer and partner communications
– Assist with CRM management and proposals
– Support events and external engagements
Operations and Coordination
– Improve internal processes and documentation
– Coordinate across internal teams and external partners
Skills and Experience
– 4–7+ years experience in strategy, operations, consultancy, or startup environments
– Strong written communication and analytical skills
– High levels of discretion, judgement, and accountability
